I love all the side stories going on right now. The Mueller twins/clones, Robot’s suspicious behavior, the Viltrumite’s taking over other worlds, Alien the Alien trying to amass an interplanetary alliance, and the Guardians of the Globe team drama. This volume kicks a lot of these issues up a notch and we see how they could all intertwine eventually.
I am worried about Mark’s mom, Debbie, as she reconciles the fact that Nolan began another life on another planet so soon after he left and started a family. She has a lot of baggage and worry. I am curious to see how The Immortal dating Kate will impact the Guardian‘s team dynamic. Robot seems to be helping some type of alien in a fish tank collect materials to grow stronger. Now they have Nolan’s alien baby!?!

I’m also enjoying Mark’s development. He got stronger fighting other Viltrumites and he’s slowly forgiving Nolan (or at least trying to understand his father). He stood up to Cecile too and went to the alien planet without government permission. I’m curious how longer space missions will affect Mark’s relationship with Amber too.
