Fans of Geek Love will find the same beautifully dark language and story in Toad. I find Dunn’s work so remarkable in that she was brave enough to put to paper, the things humans think in the depths of their own personal savagery. 

This book is the story of a woman who has lived two lives and how the first is searching, the second a choice to live as her own person.
