The thing I believe you should know before you read this book is that it has spoilers to other mystery books you may want to read. The murders copy 8 other well know books ex Agatha Christie. And it helps to get all of the call outs to other books and authors when you’ve read them before you read this one. I knew this going in and I feel it was good but it would have been better if I had read all the books mentioned before.

The plot is a little far fetched. It's about someone committing murders from several books which were on a list. It's a shame the book contains so many spoilers from those books, because I've only read one of them and have some of those books still on my to read list. There were some plot twist, but it didn't feel like a thriller. Some other books by this author like The Kind Worth Killing, is much better.

What I Did Like:
+Absolutely LOVE the story here. As a bookseller myself, I saw a lot of things to adore in this set up. I immediately knew I wanted a “all books mentioned in this book” shelf.
+Twists and mystery. Just overall really well done and set up. The reveals hit because they’re delivered at just the right time and I didn’t see them all coming.
+Who can you trust? I love when this works in a mystery story and you find yourself questioning literally every character. At one point I’m pretty sure I was accusing all of them! It all just felt plausible.

Who Should Read This One:
-Unreliable narrator fans or readers who generally like questioning the entire cast.
-Fans of mysteries in general. The premise draws from some of the greatest mystery books in history and that is a fun story for a mystery reader.

My Rating: 4 Stars
If you’re a mystery fan, you’ll love this one. Recommended, for sure!

Giving this a 3.5/5 !! Kept me interested and was an easy read to get through. I also didn’t guess the ending but also wasn’t really blown away by it? Kind of felt sorry for the narrator but then also didn’t like him but then also did? Really weird idk! Not my fave but didn’t hate it!
