Oh my god. I love this. The artwork is beautiful. The story twists back and forth incredibly well. The gods seem real and also unattainable. Thank every god, Logan got me the series for Christmas.

This was a fun and dark read. The artwork and panels were amazing. It was a beautifully constructed story and the idea of gods in the modern world was interesting enough but making them superstars added something special. I wonder how the authors chose the gods that they did?

Weirdest concept ever. Works so incredibly well, the art is incredible and the story is great. I need more bubblegum comics like this.

Full disclosure: I won this during a Goodreads Giveaway. Nobody paid me anything to talk it up, promise.
This was a pretty interesting read. The premise is original and fantastic. The author doesn't bother taking much time setting up the world or the gods for you. Pretty much just drops you on in there, and I think the only time that didn't work so well for me was with the Morrigan and Baphomet. I found them and their whole dynamic a little confusing. Other than that, though, I was fully engaged in the story: the mystery, the world, the variety of diverse, funny, and fascinating characters. Also, the literally explosive violence and otherwise shocking plot developments. I was not at all emotionally prepared for the cliffhanger this book ended on and will absolutely have to continue reading the series. Though I am considering waiting until I can get it as Year 2. Just to keep it all oversized and pretty.
Speaking of pretty . . . oh my god, the artwork in this. I love it. And the cosplay potential is ridiculous. If I didn't already have plans for DragonCon this year (and could find a perfectly tailored white suit to fit me) I'd want to dress up as Luci for sure. Or, you know. Everyone else. Gorgeous stuff.
