i really enjoyed the first book of this series however i felt like the second one didn't meet my expectations. im conflicted on giving it 3 stars because i rated the first one 3 stars. i didnt love it but i enjoyed it. this one cant be a 3 star if i disliked it more.

what i liked:
the depth in the history of the snake & fox

what i disliked:
BORING AF...scifi disappeared and became "high" fantasy

I am really sad to say this... but Evermore is 2 star read or less... This book and Everless. The two books have nothing in common with each other what so ever... I really enjoyed the first one, but this was torture.
Leading lady was scared, stupid and naive. No character development at all.
Love interest was f*boring. I loved him in the first book only to find out that he is just like his brother just one obsessed boy. Also no character development...

I am really, really sad

The first book in this duology was amazing, and this book brought nothing less than amazement and surprise around every turn. I love how in this book Jules and Liam's relationship grows and I love how they act with each other. Caro is an amazing villain in this novel that I am so impressed with. Sara Holland's writing is amazing and it's hard to believe Everless was her debut novel. I hope to see more books by Sara Holland in the future because I know those books will be amazing.

I loved the first book so much, but this was such a disappointment... There was happening too much but also not enough. All the exciting parts were rushed too much and all the thoughts and unimportant parts were too long... I had hoped I could give this a 5 star rating, but unfortunately 3 stars is the most I can give

Couldn't get past chapter 7, it was too boring. Not as good as the first book.
