With an approaching cross-dressing contest in which Miyano has been nominated to represent his class, this volume tackles some of his insecurities about being teased for looking feminine in middle school. I like how Sasaki's casual, straightforward attitude towards gender identity and sexual orientation helps Miyano to unlearn some of the shame and embarrassment he's been made to feel. I also continue to like seeing Sasaki secretly debilitated by how cute he finds Miyano. And, sometimes jealousy isn't a nice trope, but with Sasaki it hits good, and sort of tempers the wholesomeness with a little heat.
Ogasawara's girlfriend is kind of a freak in her BL tastes, which tickles me no end. But the standout secondary character in this volume is Kuresawa. I love the scene where he, as Miyano's backup for the cross-dressing contest, takes a selfie of himself in drag and even poses cutely and edits the photo before sending it to his girlfriend, who seems to spend a lot of time in hospital, to cheer up her fujoshi heart. Side note, as a bi person, I would date Kuresawa in a heartbeat.

That ENDING tho!!!…I’m officially hooked! *sigh* now to wait til April for the next one
Still no real decision on Miyano’s part after Sasaki’s confession. We get some cute moments where Sasaki talks about his feelings, but most of this volume follows Miyano trying to figure out what it means to like someone. Interesting how it has that similar theme to My Love Mix Up.
