I really loved this second book. I thought the author was much more engaged in connecting the storyline with the actual plot. Hence, as a reader, I found this book to be the superior one in the series.

A very interesting. I found it a little slow to begin with but after a certain point, things got tense.
Right after you think you found the biggest plot in the book, you are wrong. Because the last half is filled with plot twists left and right, all the way to the last sentence of the last page.
Well done to the author!!
I loved the flashbacks to the first book in the series and how those characters were still mentioned and not forgotten.
The only reason why I put it as a 3.5 stars was because of how slow I found the beginning. Good story, but rough start.
If you have trouble engaging in books, I promise you this sequel is worth it. Take your time and aim to just get half way through the book. I promise it’s worth your while!
