I liked this one more than the first book!

I was super excited to start this book, since I loved the first one. However, this dropped the ball big time and left me disappointed. Once you realize who the new “bad guy” is and their connection to the characters, you realize it just doesn’t make that much sense and you’re left feeling disappointed.

I liked how the truth was revealed little by little, making it fun to put the pieces together. The story had great twists, and the suspense kept me interested.

However, the characters were a bit too slow in figuring things out. I get that it was needed for the plot, but sometimes it was very frustrating. Also, why did Maeve wait so long to open the files??? It didn’t feel realistic.

Overall, it’s a fun and exciting book with a good mystery, even if the characters take a while to catch up sometimes.
