This book is so damn good. Wow.
I loved revisiting some of the characters from the last book, as well as meeting some new ones, and seeing a whole new story unfold. The twists and turns were just as good in this one as the last. I found it absolutely thrilling to try to figure everything out and put the puzzle together, and I thought I did a pretty good job, but that last twist certainly blindsided me! I did not see the threads of that one at all, in no way did I see that part coming. Astonishingly brilliant, I recommend these books so highly and give much praise to the author for her skill.
I wish I had a more coherent review of this book, but given I accidentally took a several month break ~60% of the way through, this is the best I have. And I'd say it's pretty good for the circumstances.

I KNEW IT!!! I knew this book was gonna end with a cliff hanger that leads to the next book “one of us is back”. Man but that cliff hanger was crazy. It’s like in direct middle of the discovery! I thought this book was kinda slow paced but I can tell now it’s just a set up book. It’s setting up for the third one! I’m so excited to read it.
