I love this book so much, each successive read being just as delightful as the last. Hilarious, heartfelt, moving... People who put the Tiffany Aching series on the lower rung of the Discworld novels are so, so very wrong (and may deserve a good kicking)

This is such a wonderful book! I love this young witch and her tiny Scottish friends. I can't believe it took me so long to get to this specific series and I'm so happy to know I still have a few new books to read in the discworld series! The witches might be my favorites group of characters within the Discworld and this one is no exception. Loved the subtle Narnia parody and the Nac Mac Feegles are delightful. Can't wait to get to the next book in the series!

This was my first Terry Pratchett book ever, so I'm not quite sure what to think. I don't know what I was expecting, but whatever it was, I didn't expect it to be so - thought-provoking, I guess - on so many levels. I definitely want to read more. It's a world I can get easily lost in!

I've been being told to read this book since I was about 9 but to be honest, I'm happy that this is when I've finally got round to it. I don't think I'd have appreciated it as much when I was younger, before I was as invested in the Discworld as I am now. I loved this book! I can already tell that Tiffany is going to become a solid favourite character and I thought the Nac Mac Feegles were absolutely fantastic; I'm also a huge huge fan of Granny Aching. Surprise Nanny and Granny at the end were a treat too!! This was a great book for younger readers and adults alike and I'm unbelievably excited to read the rest of Tiffany's series...

However, I think that before I read the next Tiffany book, I'm going to finish the rest of the Witches books so that I'm more in chronological order. Onto the next book!

Tiffany is such a great character! The book is funny and interesting, with a lot of dreams and monsters and magic woven together, but the character of Tiffany us really what made this book. She is a clever problem-solver who has a lot of impressive confidence. I'd live to read more books that feature her.

The wee free men themselves and an interesting race.

The book reminded us a little of The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, and a little of some other fantasy novels, but it really does stand separate as well.

So very good ♡ a must-read for sure
