Update!! I don’t really review much on here but someone said she plagiarized another author. One star.
I meeeeaaaan the smut scenes were good but I honestly don’t understand why these two fought. Like Callan had no real reason to hate Daisy. He was being a jerk because he thought she was too good for him? But he wasn’t even a jerk when they were younger. Like it don’t make sense to me. He was always nice to her and they were BEST friends. The whole back and forth thing they had going on was annoying but when they were together it was super cute. And literally everything she did mad Callan mad? Like sir go to therapy please. I’m not in love with this book BUT I do like the writing style so I would love to read other books by this author.

0 stars if i could since i found out this book is plagiarized. someone should not call themselves an author if all they did was copy other people’s work.
0 fucking stars to the entire storyline of this book as well. i HATED THIS BOOK WITH A PASSION. it was so fucking predictable and cliche. blah blah blah the heroine has no backbone and is literally a doormat, who of course, married her high school sweetheart while still being in love with Hero. then her years of marriage is miserable and come to find out her husband is cheating on her (so predictable) with her own cousin and the mistress is pregnant. husband and mistress get into an accident and died leaving their child for the heroine to take care of. then heroine goes to work for the Hero of course who pushed her away when they were kids because he was so madly in love with her. this book is absolutely horrendous and predictable. i hated everything about it. i hated the doormat heroine and the stupid, vile, vicious Hero. a waste of paper, a waste of ink. i especially hated the baggage the heroine had. of course her life is so bad because of every mistake she has made because of the Hero that now she’s stuck carrying all the fucking baggage. it’s like SM Soto put cheating spouse, unwanted baby, dead husband, vicious tyrant, all into a pot and mixed then and said Oh here’s a story. no just no. i cant stand this book.

haven’t read it and i don’t plan to but plagiarism deserves nothing. this author plagiarized from Kim Jones’ “this guy.” don’t support s.m. soto for stealing hard work. girl really copied scenes word for word.
a DOR que eu senti lendo esse livro vsfffff daisycallan vcs sao minhas vidas
I liked the book, but then I found out it was copied from author Kim Jones, and that was not okay by any means. However, I do have to talk about Callan Reed. I know this was an enemy to lovers novel, but the way his character was written and the words and actions directed towards Daisy were terrible. Like, I think Callan is supposed to be the character we usually like at the end, but by no means was this character likable. His actions and words were manipulative and abusive. Not the enemy to lovers book I was looking for :(
— I fell in love with my best friend. I loved her so fiercely that it left room for nothing else. I loved her enough that I was willing to let her go
Rating: 4.5 stars
When I first heard about this book, I immediately became excited to read because of everything it had to offer. A cold, first class asshole male protagonist, check. A soft and kind hearted heroine, double check. A beautiful childhood best friends-to-enemies-to-lovers story, just check all the freaking boxes already. This book was the first S.M Sotto book I read, but it definitely won’t be last. I fell in love with her writing style, the story building and the characters in an instant. The Seasons Of Callan Reed is a full length, enemies-to-lovers novel, one FILLED with angst and heat.
Daisy Casillas was one of the easiest characters to love. She is an absolute charmer and just someone you can’t help but love. And while she has been dealt with a hard hand at life, she is resilient and hasn’t lost her spirit through all the hard-times she has faced. I fell in love with her soft, caring and selfless personality moments after starting the book and just couldn’t get enough of it.
Callan Reed on the other hand is the exact opposite... Where Daisy is warm, loving and an absolute sweetheart, Callan is a cold, first class asshole and a complete jerk. But did that stop me from loving him....? Absolutely not. When I finally got into his head and read everything, specially about the past from his perspective, I couldn’t help but love him. His soft side on the other hand is just to die for. While I found him a bit frustrating at times, he quickly became one of my favourite male character. One think I loved was that through out the book Callan’s personality doesn’t change all of a sudden. He is still this ruthless firm owner but grows to communicate and express his love for Daisy openly and it’s everything to die for.
The enemies to lovers troupe has to be one of my favourite troupes to read, add childhood best-friends, with a LOT of angst and heat to mix, and it becomes everything to me. Daisy and Callan’s relationship was one that fit everything i love to read about and was filled with angst, heat and a lot of chemistry that made me love them even more. Getting to see flashbacks into their childhood... the pain, the longing all gathered up for almost 13 years, made their relationship and story all the more beautiful to read.
I absolutely loved this book and god the extended epilogue!!!!???? I CANNOT wait to read Easton’s book.

Deleted my review and rating because I don't support plagiarism.
I loved the book but it came to my attention that it was stolen. So my congrats go to Kim Jones for the words. This is sad and a bit pathetic. Such a shame that these things keep happening in the bookworld.....
I have removed my previous review following recent allegations that SM Soto has plagiarized work from another author. I will not support stealing.
