The pacing is perfect and I knew this was going to be something special right away. I’m absolutely thrilled to find a main character with a chronic illness that doesn’t spend the whole book consumed with woes about it. Chloe has her good days and her bad days and either way she still has a personality. Similarly, Red is supportive and thoughtful without infantilizing Chloe or sexualizing her disability, and he also has a personality outside of her, plus his own issues that he’s dealing with. It’s refreshing to see a diverse cast that feel like real people and doesn’t seem to be ticking off boxes for representation. The spice was also excellent without feeling overly vulgar which is a serious achievement.
Mind the trigger warnings!

Immediately I had a laugh out loud moment in the first paragraph and knew from the get-go, this was going to be good. This felt like a feel good series you would cuddle up on the couch and enjoy. Chloe and her stubborn personality is so relatable, I felt too seen LOL. Especially her love for animals 🤍🫠
Chloe felt like a lifelong friend whom was giving us an update on what's been going on in her life.
But the number of laugh out loud moments I experienced in straight up ILLEGAL!!! No book, I say, no book should have me both feeling real feelings and a page-turn away, laughing while clutching my side. So thankful this is a trilogy so I ca n read the supportive, loving and comical perspective from her sisters, Eve and Dani. 🥰
