I very much look forward to the day this man is President.

Great book to listen to on his POV about the state of trust in government and why it is important

3.75 stars. I read this in hopes that it would stop me from doomscrolling on Twitter to look for 30 second clips of Pete on FOX News. Unfortunately, this book did not give me that same dopamine hit, but it was still well done. It was good, but, especially after reading the author's note, you can tell it was written very quickly. I think I just expected something a little more polished.

A quick listen as far as audiobooks go. I found it to be a compelling and timely read. Pete Buttigieg lays out a well though out, easy to understand and timely examination on the concept of trust. I think this is one of those books that everyone can agree adds a real value to any political conversation.

Pete explores why trust is so important, why we have lost trust in the government and each other, and how we can rebuild trust. We should use this book as an outline and make a clear plan to rebuild trust in others and in ourselves.
