Much recommended light read about loss and love. I hope everyone gets such people around to help you in times of despair. It had me bawling at the end.

It has too happy of an ending, and I found a lot of the plot to be unrealistic. I know everybody loves this book, but I never loved the protagonist's mean vibe and violent tendencies. The author makes a point of having him be anti-racist, and friendly to gays and non-binary ideas. This comes out as very Disney-esque, as if these characters are included just to tick a box off.
It has encouraged me to be more handy and confident in my ability to do home projects.
