At first I was confused and thought I had missed a lot of what was going on, maybe even a whole book worth of what was going on, but there was ultimately a plot relevant reason for that which was fascinating.

Another one for the "reliving my teenage reading habits." I was obsessed with this series, and honestly it held up! I felt like this is an engaging read for upper middle and high school students. With this particular book, we are getting into the swing of the Daughters of the Moon; they are learning their powers and guarding the city from the enemy: The Atrox. I liked Serena's story because of the mystery behind her and one of the bad guys Stanton. The rave/dance scenes were described well and the outfits sounded so cool!
I've heard the end of the series goes downhill, but if I find more of these, I'm definitely picking them up.

This series is the equivalent of a mythological music video. It has beautiful imagery, some substance (but definitely not too much), and a super simplistic writing style. But the nostalgia is so real and my 30s-year-old self loves it just as much as the 12 year old me that wanted desperately to be a badass goddess of the moon. It's absolutely terrible and I freaking love it so much.

Can't remember how I found this series, but I liked it. I have yet to tread the last, but I want. It is just really interesting a and i love the whole thing with the bad guy. I recommend this for anyone who likes paranormal-y books.
