There was a lot of unanswered questions which is strange to find in the THIRD book of a TRILOGY. Obviously, the author is setting it up for other books, but I don't appreciate the series ending with unanswered questions.
I really enjoyed this series (obviously I went through them really quick.) There weren't any major concerns I can think of. It's really annoying how she spells certain things (Like Rychard/Tomas/Michal) and it's weird how she's Cia but she has a friend names STAcia... maybe I'm being picky. Twas good. Also the message and the rebellion was kind of confusing. But I liked how she showed that not everyone was a good guy/ bad guy. It was a neat idea. If you like divergent/hunger games you will like this.

Honestly very lacking and a very disappointing ending to what started off as a really good series. I found myself skipping through entire paragraphs and pages that are essentially recaps of the first two books, and her recounting the plan a thousand times to each one of her friends. I don’t understand why the president would rest the safety of the entire country on the shoulders of a 16 year old who she met like 2 weeks ago. Nothing makes sense at all. They have all this fancy tech but no phones/mass communication at all? Maybe because of the power restrictions but still bullshit. I just can’t wrap my head around this book and it fell completely flat to me.
Edit: I also wanna know how big her mfing bag is??? Is this bitch Mary Poppins or what???

I LOVED the first two books, but this one left me a little disappointed. The first half is exposition, explaining Cia's thoughts and moral dilemmas, and while the second half is all action, it only sort of makes up for the first 10 chapters.
The ending also left something to be desired. I don't know if she intends to write more stories set in this world or if she just didn't know how to end it, but I feel unsatisfied. It was too open-ended and I don't feel like all my questions were answered.
Also, and this is nitpicky, but it suddenly bothered me in this book that Cia and Stacia's names are so close to each other. They BOTH say CIA. It's weird. And I didn't notice it in the prior books.
This was a tough one to get into. I'm glad I stuck with it, but I don't think I got the closure I deserved as a reader.
