This may be the worst series ending to a book I've ever read. There was nowhere near enough content, the characters would NEVER make the choices they did. The writing was very thick with sections of Cia 'thinking' about the same issues repeatedly. Just horrendous.
A fantastic conclusion to the series. This book kept the twists coming and had me on the edge of my seat. It was a brilliant conclusion to the series that left me wanting more!

reading this book felt like eating sand. 291 pages of nothing happening interspersed with gunfire and long monologues about the government. malencia’s bag of holding and the presidential gun closet… her infinite perfect access to every tool she’s ever going to need. and don’t get me started on how every single PoC character was either killed off, maimed and removed from the plot, or was described as being untrustworthy, vicious, cut throat through the WHOLE series. what a miserable fucking ending to a series i liked.

A great finale, even though it is predictable and the twist is more of a gentle curve.
