it’s a dark book that is full of terribly written characters and an even worse plot line. Could not finish and won’t be going back.

honestly this book was just boring me. so many words with so little happening except the fmc reliving her trauma in extreme detail, the mmc getting mad he wants her, leaves for a month, and continues to have sex with other women. i just couldn’t do it anymore

Wow. I wasn’t sure about this book, but it wasn’t that bad. I’m pretty sure I skimmed the last 6 chapters bc I want to read Rider’s book. It was ok, some grammar errors, good plot; did not like the excessive “bitch” 😭 i understand thats “biker slang” but damn.  spicy scenes were ok, ive read better on wattpad. But yea, definitely worth it to continue reading the series
why is it that i always like the villain more than the MMC??? like, they brought up Rider, medic, exsoldier, AND I JUST WANTED HER TO BE WITH RIDER 😭😭😭
it has dual POV!!

This was my first MC type book and I can't say I'm excited for anymore. Huge plead for people to check out TWs. They were intense.

I enjoyed Mae's discovery of the world and her coming to terms with everything she has been through. I think Rider and Mae really helped each other in ways no one else around them could.

I couldn't get into Styx and Mae's love story. He didn't understand her in the slightest and she's been so traumatized the first sign of kindness sticks with her. If I'm being honest neither of them tried to understand the other.

The language throughout the book was a huge no for me. I didn't appreciate how the men talked about or treated the women- even calling the women they loved 'bitches'. Maybe this is a normal thing in MC style books but it definitely didn't work for me.

Overall I don't think this book was for me.
