I happened across this book from an indie author here on Instagram. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I liked the cover, and we all know I’m a sucker for fat positive representation.
Was this book perfect? No. Did the conclusion the stalker plot line seem at all plausible? No. But was it a good time? Yes, absolutely. Though,I could have done without the short separation in the third act.
If you’re looking for a quick, fun romance read with a steamy-but-slow-burn-second-chance-rockstar-bodyguard-relationship, you would enjoy this book. It was just what I needed to counteract an ARC I’m reading that has a reading slump closing in.
