It's no secret that KF books are my comfort. I may have only read a few (I believe this was my seventh?), but to me, their writing is like a warm hug. I unfortunately had to start with the third book in this series because I wanted to read whatever my library had, but even though there were a lot of characters, I didn't find it confusing. The thing that I love most about KF books is the world that they create. When romance books are just two main characters falling in love who each have maybe one friend, I find it extremely unrealistic. But as someone who has a giant family, the Bishops made perfect sense. I'm excited to read earlier books in the series because it's fun knowing that background characters are going to get their story told. Small towns with big found families will always have my heart.

When characters go back and forth/hot and cold, it can get frustrating. You want to scream "will you idiots just talk to each other!" But I never felt that with this book. Of course I wanted them to get together and stay together, but I think they both had their reasons for not being ready for a relationship. Also - even though I am a sucker for an "age gap" romance, I like that their relationship didn't seem taboo or that their ages were a hang up in their relationship. I don't think Maize was "immature" as much as she just was her age. And when she stepped up and groveled (p.s. love a FMC grovelling. It was such a cute role reversal with the two) they started communicating properly.

Their chemistry was addictive. Small town romances are for those who believe that true love can happen even if your life isn't a magical fairytale. I know that if I was in the Bishop family, I would be obsessed with Gavin and Maize's love. They're so supportive of one another, and getting Gavin's POV of how much he adored her made me giggle and blush.

The pacing is well done. I think the couple gets together at the perfect time without it being too rushed. The way the story is spread out over a long period of time makes it a quick read. All of the time jumps felt deserved. Readers can get frustrated with time jumps because they feel "cheated" out of content, but I felt that every moment was what it needed to be. We don't need entire chapters dedicated to months where they maybe shared a smile and a head nod. Their on again/off again dynamic kept me interested. It was like dying to know when they would finally give in. Books love to give a third act breakup so that they can guarantee a happily ever after. But what I love about this book, (and it is a trend I have noticed in KF books) is that we get to spend time with the characters being together and happy. Some authors just throw a wedding/kids at the end of a book and call it an epilogue. Like hello!! I just spent 200+ pages getting invested in these two and you're going to end it when they finally admit their feelings. Knowing that this will not be the last we see of Maize and Gavin makes me really happy.

My goodreads shelf is about to have a whole lot more KF on it, and I can't wait.

The push and pull of this relationship grabbed me and didn’t let go until the very last page! Wrangling the Cowboy by Kennedy Fox is the story of Gavin and Maize. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and I loved this sexy and steamy story. Gavin is a man who will fight for what he wants and Maize is going to give him a run for his money. This small town romance gives you all the feels and will have you packing up and moving to Circle B Ranch! I cannot wait for more books in the series!

It is time to head back to the Circle B ranch with one of my favorite families, the Bishops.

Maize Bishop is all grown up and she is the head cook at the B&B and an insanely talented at it. She has been burned in the past when it came to a relationship and has walls up to protect herself. However, one night complaining about love and relationships she meets a handsome stranger, aka Gavin, and has a one-night stand that rocked her world, until a few months later that handsome stranger is now working on the ranch. Gavin is done with the rodeo circuit and looking to settle down and lands in a small Texas down and on the Circle B Ranch.

I love Maize and Gavin. They have some insane chemistry that is just heating up the pages from the very beginning. Then add in the cat and mouse game they play and I was completely hooked, especially when it came to Maize having to chase. Maize is stubborn and frustrating at times. Gavin is sweet, swoony and so lovable from the very beginning. There are so many sweet scenes between them that just make you smile and there are scenes between them that will have you looking for something to fan yourself with. Though, there is a ten-year age gap between Maize and Gavin, it really never seems like that and doesn’t give off the traditional age gap vibes.

Wrangling the Cowboy is a great addition to the Circle B Ranch series! A MUST READ and I can’t wait to head back to the ranch already!

Another hit in the Circle B Ranch series! This time around with get a one-night stand, age gap romance story of Gavin Fox and Maize Bishop. Gavin is a newly retire bull rider and finds a job in a small town on the infamous Circle B Ranch with the Bishop family. Unexpectedly he comes face to face with the woman again that left after their hot and steamy night.

This read was filled with the chase. The want to prove that the one night was meant for more. Although the connection is there Maize is all for avoiding it at all cost even pretending that she does not recall who Gavin is. To add she has been burn badly before and prefers to stop before things get too deep. But what happens when you constantly push the person away and not take the risk? Her heart and mind is at constant battle of wits and will have to figure out what she wants before it is too late.

Such an charming read filled with banter, swoony moments, and entail family that you would love to be a part of. Gavin will have you falling head over heels for this bull rider and push you to point that will have you constantly wanting more.

I'm so happy the Bishop family is always ready to welcome me home. This family and their ranch will always hold a special place in my heart and I absolutely devour every book in their world. I love this family as much as they love unconditionally.

After a steamy one-night stand with Gavin, Maize disappears the next morning expecting to never see him again. Little does she know, fate is about to step in, in a big way! Watching their relationship grow was enjoyable and Maize's fears were relatable if not extremely frustrating at times. I really enjoyed the way this author duo flipped the script on the typical romance story. It was refreshing and real.

I will never get enough of these characters and after the way the epilogue unfolded, I'm dying to get my hands on the next book in this series!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

I really enjoyed this story! It was great getting to know Maize and Gavin better. This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone but you get to see some of Gavin and Maize in the previous book in the series so extra enjoyment if you have as you always get to see characters from the previous books as well. I liked that this story went back and we get to see more of Gavin and Maize from their first meeting and all the way up to the little teases we got in the last book. I loved how Gavin refused to give up on Maize and kept pursuing her and looking beyond the surface. He trusted his instincts and what he saw beyond her words. He knew that she was running scared he just couldn't figure out why. I loved their banter back and forth as well. This story moved along at a good pace and I loved getting to see things progress. It covers quite a bit of time and I thought it was done really well as I didn't really feel like I was missing anything from those jumps in time. We got plenty of details with what was important and happening so never felt lost or like information was late to the party lol. Maize and Gavin definitely have to work for their happy ending and I enjoyed seeing them find it. I was pulled in from beginning to end because of the characters and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I am super excited for the next book as well with Elle and Connor.
I listened to the audio book and really enjoyed the narrators. They did a great job with the different voices and personalities and really brought them to life.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Just spent the last few days in my fave place and another epic love story has come from the Bishop tribe, this time between career driven Maize and retired bull ride Gavin. Wrangling the Cowboy is an age gap, small town romance read with all the magic Bishop Ranch feels. I don’t normally do age gap but I gave this one an exception and I really enjoyed it. All the Bishop girls are strong minded and Maize is no exception! Gavin and Maize’s witty banter is entertaining and chemistry is on fire

I absolutely love the Bishop series both the Bishop brothers and the Circle B Ranch stories.
This one doesn't disappoint, We learn about John and Mila's daughter Maize she's a head cook at the B&B with dreams of starting her own catering business.
Gavin a champion bull rider is ready to settling down in one place he gets a job at Circle B Ranch training the horses. He can't get the women that he had a one night stand with out of his mind, till one morning having breakfast at the B&B when he comes face to face with Maize who wants nothing to do with him.
This was a one sitting loving, funny and steamy story I can't wait to read more from them.

Wrangling the Cowboy gave me so many emotions that I am still thinking about this book. This is an age gap romance that will have you wanting more of Gavin in all ways. Dare I say this is my favorite book in the series? Because yes, I loved this book that much.

Gavin is a retired bull rider and in town interviewing for a job at Circle B Ranch. He meets Maize at the local bar and after hitting it off one thing leads to another and Maize is going home with Gavin. But the next morning Gavin wakes up to find Maize left and left nothing behind.

Maize figures she will never see Gavin again so no harm to no foul on leaving before he wakes up. But what she doesn’t realize is that Gavin is the newly hired worker on the ranch. Since Maize is the chef at the B&B she won’t be able to escape Gavin, no matter how hard she tries.

What Maize doesn’t realize is that, Gavin has his sights set on her and he will do whatever it takes to win her over.
