the cliffhanger now makes me wanna read the second book😭.

the reason why it’s a 4.5, it because it’s a bit slow in the beginning. where i was a little bit confused in the beginning but i got soo hooked by like 30%.

totally recommend.

the words, everything that west said to fable was so sweet, that i shed a tear🄹. & WHEN THEY KISSSED UNDERWATER. LIKE DUDE, SMART MOVEšŸ™‚ā€ā†•ļø.

& i hope i get to see them more in the second book. because when her father said that he can’t trust him?

also, i get why he is trying to keep her safe but would he leave her on her own ALONE??

that’s all. i should get my own copy, because that cover is stunning!!

First let me say how beautiful the cover is right?! I mean dont judge the book by its cover, well... good or bad she is gorgeous and i want her. And Ms. Adrienne Young didn’t fail me, such a captivating story! This is my first Young book that I’ve read...

At first, i thought of some magic, mermaids and some seawitch, all i know is a sea adventure! But nonetheless i dont care i’ll dive in and see for myself. With this kind of adventure no need of mythical creatures and magic, the story is already a great one, what more if we put some right? Anyhoo... i love Fable’s adventure! A sea gem diver fighting/surviving in an island where her father abandoned her after their ship sank on the bottom of the Narrow Sea. And from there, she will take you above and under the sea adventure! She’ll tell you her thoughts of how she will survive this island and all the tales to see her father again, you’ll be blown and sailed away by her adventures and her crews fighting the waves and some treacherous characters. This tale gives me a Sinbad vibes, so lets go aboard with Fable and as for me lets wait for Namesake!

I flew through this book. I couldn’t put it down! Such a fresh take of life on the sea. Adrienne has such a way of painting the picture for you and throw in found family and a dash of romance.. can’t wait to dive into the next book

this book was a slow start it took me a while to get into it but by the end I was hooked, I loved all the twists and turns throughout the book and I can't wait to find out what happens between fable and west. it is definitely a slow burn romance and an epic fantasy. the only thing is I personally think that it is missing something, I would of loved more in the romance department but overall a good book
