Für mich war das Buch einfach nur okay, obwohl mich die kurze Liebesszene zwischen Fable und West dann doch besser gestimmt hat. Ich habe irgendwie immer darauf gewartet, dass ihre Mutter wieder auftaucht, aber das Ende ging dann doch in eine andere Richtung.

I get the hype. It is fast paced, easy to go into. Fable, the main character, was lovely for here age - definitely acting like her age, but is not annoying - that is hard balance to keep. What put me a bit off balance is that the book was really trying to have reserved characters, being kept and keeping Fable at arms length  - so when it got time to start caring so much about them, I still did not feel like I knew them well enough. I can never know if they are in trouble and have a plan and just haven't told your POV character yet. Hope it will get better in the next one.
