J'ai énormément apprécié l'histoire. Un univers marin que je ne lis pas souvent.
Les chapitres sont courts et la lecture est très fluide.

J'avais deviné une partie de l'intrigue : West le capitaine qui vient acheter les carmines à Fable était envoyer par son père Saint qui la surveiller tout de même.
Plus je voyais la fin du livre arrivé, plus je me demandais ce qui allait se passer, puisqu'il y a un deuxième livre. L'enlèvement n'était donc pas une surprise pour moi.

Hormis ces déductions , j'ai adoré Fable comme personne principal , ainsi que l'ambiance générale du livre.
4 ★ car je n'étais pas investi dans l'histoire dès le début du roman, pour ensuite dévorer la fin du roman.

What i thought i was getting was a romantic love story on a ship. I was a little disappointed that the romance aspect doesn’t really happen until the last 5 chapters of the book, but LET ME TELL YOU WHAT! Instead of a steamy romance we get an action- packed, salty seas, ocean loving adventure. This book googling the price of scuba diving excursions because I NEED TO BE IN THE OCEAN. Fable is a a character that i really enjoyed getting to know and while 3/4 of the way through the book i was a bit skeptical the last 1/4 has me itching to read the next one.

This was a great YA book! The beginning was a bit slow for me so that’s why it’s a lower rating but it was a great setting (very Pirates of the Caribbean vibes)! I’m excited for the next one for sure and I’m hoping we get more of West and Fables love story. I needed more!!
