Rereading this series is so nostalgic for me. I love the world of Sisters Grimm. Michael Buckley has such a way of weaving humor in with all of the action.

I honestly find myself forgetting this is a juvenile fiction book. The adventure is gripping and you’re swept away in the mystery of the case. The battle scenes are even well written. He’s doesn’t hold anything back.

If you’re looking for a different twist on your fairy tales, this could be the series for you.

Love these books. Fairy tale characters are incorporated in such interesting ways.

I think I realized during this reread that Sabrina and Puck were the first characters I ever truly shipped when I was younger. Picking these books up again was the best decision I’ve made in a while.

This was kind of a sad one, and it is more setting up of things to come than action. But still, some interesting new characters and relationships. Still hilarious!

Sabrina and Daphne meet another (trouble-making) relative they didn't know they had and they find out who kidnapped their parents. Sabrina learns that using magic to solve problems also has a consequence including addiction.

Much better than the second book in my opinion. More characters, adventure, crazy things that could get people killed. And OMG, Puck and Sabrina! Loved them. Overall one of the best books in the series. Fantabulous and kids ages eight and older should read these books.

read this series back-to-back per book with Vertigo's Fables. Messes with your head!
