I read all of these books and absolutely fell in love with them!! I think it must have been 3rd grade but i’m not sure. I was obsessed with them!!

The story is about two sisters (sabrina and daphne) who have been bounced around the foster system when they find their grandma. They go to live with their grandma even though they don’t want to. Her grandma has a big dog. they learn that the whole town is full of fairytale characters. there is also puck who they didn’t get along with at first but eventually they do and later sabrina and him find out that they are each other’s true love. I remember a lot more little details but I’m not sure how to connect them lol. Anyways they find out that their parents aren’t really dead and we’re kidnapped by the scarlet hand and put to sleep and can only be woken up with true loves kiss, but they are both asleep and each other’s true love. but then the girls kiss them and it wakes them up and they defeat the scarlet hand and live happily ever after:)
Other things:
-Baba Yaga and her house with chicken legs
-The grandma has a big st bernard
-Puck had his own magical room at the grandma's house with like a whole world inside
-The cops were the three little pigs lol
-Snow White was Daphne's teacher

omg i loved these books so much i really should reread them. I was obsessed with fairy tales for a long time and I read and listened to these books lots of times.

This one felt very random. Several times throughout the book I flipped back to the previous page to make sure I didn’t miss a page, because I had no clue how the events of one page led to the next.

This was a wonderful continuation of the Sisters Grimm tales. There is more at stake all around. There are demented dangers pursuing those the girls love, not to mention holding some captive already.

Some of the important themes the book deals with are addiction and using power responsibly, if at all--not to mention recognizing whether or not you may even need to use or seek more power than you already have. This is a not-too-heavy-handed exploration of some really universal and essential things that I think every kid should read at some point.

It's also a great story!

I am really enjoying this series. They improve as you read along. Sabrina and Daphne are great heroines, and even Puck was sweet this time around, well for him! It is great to see more fairytale character appearances as they go along. Can't wait to read on.

I love how realistic the characters are written. Sabrina drove me crazy in this book, but she is an 11 year old. Daphne is my favorite though. Her personality is so cute!

I forgot how fast this series go.
SpoilerLike dang, we already find Veronica & Henry and add another aspect to Sabrina's personality -- power hungriness. Which btw, I could go so deep into, it was so fantastically done by Buckley as it is a very real trait to have.
