I’m usually a mood reader, so when this book became available to me from my library, but I wasn’t in the mood to read it, I was initially just thinking to get it out-of-the-way but wow! This book is so unique. I love the writing style. I loved the meta-writer/character back and forth theme and I thought it was really well done. I found myself wanting equally to finish the book so I could find out what happened, but also not wanting it to end (very much like our main characters). I typically don't love literary fiction as much as some other genres but this was surprisingly good.

I liked the journey of this book. I believe it was quite clever and well done. The chopping and changing was smooth and clean and the ending was perfection in my eyes. The only thing I struggled with is
becoming attached to any character. It's easy enough to fall in love with characters in a book, but I found it much harder to fall in love with characters written by characters. I'm still considering. Who was written by who. I think I know but what an amazing question to be left with.

Really enjoyed this but it seems there was an issue with the audio file; the story finished then jumped back several chapters. Meant that the story ended before I thought it would and it felt very abrupt.

This was one of the most unique books I've ever read. My only problem with it was the ending. It just happened so fast and I wanted more

This book was so frustrating. I was all prepared to give it a strong rating until I got to the end. And I know I’m supposed to appreciate the literary creativity or whatever. But I don’t. I’m annoyed. SO ANNOYED.
