The protagonist was incredibly well-written and his motives are clear and easy to understand. His ingenuity and cunning carries him through the overturned world, and although it gets tedious at times, there are some jewels when it comes to the story he weaves.

Read via audible and I enjoyed it. The various voices the narrator used helped a lot with the immersion via audio. Zorian, as the main character, starts out a bit insufferable but the advantage of time loops is that you get a lot of time to learn not only how to get better at magic but also how to grow as a person. Still, I would have probably liked to see a bit more of the psychological toll the time loop would have on those caught on it, which is basically a non issue here.

It’s a time loop story, which sounds like it would be repetitive- BUT IT’S NOT!

I was amazed at how engaged I was in the plot, in the worldbuilding, and the character development!

No restart is the same, and our MC not only learns something new every restart, we learn more about the world and people around him- and the conspiracy just gets bigger and bigger-

And all I can say is READ THIS!

You will not be disappointed!

Everything is 5/5, and eat you heart out Hogwarts, I wanna go to this school! The foundation of the education system is so much more refined, and while yes it’s more like SCHOOL, in reality I think it’s more realistic. 😄
