My favorite of the series!!!

Isaiah and Kennedy are the BEST!!!! I love the devotion he has ALWAYS had for her and the patience they have for each other… I wish I could read this one for the first time again.

Kennedy Kay is the only woman on staff for the Windy City Warriors. She is extremely undervalued and overqualified to be doing her job. Isaiah Rhodes is the shortstop for the baseball team and is extremely charming. He has been crushing on Kennedy, since she first started working as an athletic trainer for the Warriors. One wildly unpredictable night in Vegas ties the two together forever.

“Grief seems like a privilege, in a way,” She says. “To have loved someone so much that you can’t imagine life without them. I’ve never felt that.”

so so good. I just love these characters. Isaiah might be the best boyfriend of the Windy City bunch. also just a sucker for when one character doesn’t like storms and has to be comforted. overall very cute but it was missing (a very small) something so that’s why only 4 stars.
