The main plot was intriguing and action-packed. I just found it very confusing at times. It was very hard to follow the minor point in some scenarios.

I've been keen to read his for a while and I am so glad I took the plunge! I absolutely loved Orphan Monster Spy from page one right through to the fabulous ending. Matt Killeen has a wonderful way with words and I loved the heroine of the story: Sarah. She's so feisty and rises above all her terrible experiences, (including the brutal death of her mother,) to be a truly awesome, fierce, brave and engaging character.
You'd enjoy Orphan Monster Spy if you like stories set in Nazi Germany. This is a different take, focusing on a young Jewish girl infiltrating a Nazi school for the 'elite.' It doesn't shy away from telling it as it is. At times it is brutal.
It is obviously well researched and the author Matt Killeen's compassion and humanity is evident in his writing.
It's an easy one to rate. A five stars without a doubt. Definitely a favourite. Highly recommended. Matt Killeen has a new fan. I shall be reading more from this author.

3.5⭐️ Good point about not letting little injustices build up, but protest, speak up!
This was such a well written interesting book. It was written as if Killeen had actually looked inside the mind of a 15 year old girl to write this book. The characters were haunting and chillingly real, and the ending was an opening into something new- which I found very refreshing, as it didn't have a neat bow all tied up.
This book was good. Not great. Just wasn't what I expected.

3.5 stars. It's like if teenage Code Name Verity was written by Markus Zusak Lite. Has some nice literary sustenance but a couple of weird, improbable coincidences that drive the whole story.
