Loved the characters. Plot wasn't always very strong, but still enjoyed.

So good! This might have topped Clockwork Angel. I'm really enjoying this series and can't wait to find out how it ends!
Tessa, Will, and Jem are worried when they find out Charlotte's position as head of the Institute is challenged. Add that with the ever-present threat of the Magister, Tessa's confusing feelings about Will and Jem, and the fact that someone might have betrayed them, this book has plenty going on.
Tessa continues to be an awesome heroine and my love for her definitely grew in this book. I love her strength and wit; and of course, her love of books.
The love triangle! I thought I knew which way it was going to go, then it changed my mind! Then it kind of went back again... but what tore my heart is that I love both Will and Jem SO MUCH. Either way, I'll be both happy and sad. It's inevitable.
As for the side characters:
Sophie: I love Sophie so much. She's so strong and tough and brave. I have a prediction that
Jessamine: I love Jessamine.
Charlotte: she's a queen. If course.
Henry: aww he's adorable
Nate: what a coward awful traitor
Bridget: she made me laugh
I felt that the revelation about what happened in Will's past came a little too soon, but then I read I read the rest of the book and it made sense. So that's not a real complaint.
The only two things I disliked: First, I wasn't super motivated to pick this up. When I actually read it I liked it, but I found myself feeling indifferent about it and selecting something else. I can't pinpoint exactly why; it might have been more of a problem with me than the book. As I said, I liked the book when I actually read it, so this isn't much of a complaint either! The other thing, however, was ending. I would like a little more from it. After the heart-racing ending of the last one, this one... was kinda underwhelming? There was no epic battle or anything!
Overall, though, this was amazing. I loved the characters and how everything tied together; I like Cassandra Clare's writing and the world of the Shadowhunters.
When can I get Clockwork Princess??

I was disappointed in her, but I can't help feeling bad for her. All she wants is love... she hates her life... she is willing to do anything to escape and for love. I totally get why some people wouldn't like her, but I think she might be my favorite character.Charlotte: she's a queen. If course.
