I feel like I have been waiting forever for Finn and Effy’s story and it’s finally here and I loved it so much. I adored Finn’s story ALOT more than Ryan and Brandon’s. He’s my renaissance boy thus far. Finn’s character was absolutely adorable and wonderful, the damaged shy boy and Effy was a perfect fit for him.

We also get to see more of Ryan/Emily and Brandon and Harper which made the book so fun to read because the Renaissance boys were a FAMILY.

Nikki J. Summers did it again and her writing is flawless. I can’t wait to read Zak’s story but before him I can’t wait to read about the soldiers (you’ll understand when you read this book).

If you haven’t read this series I suggest start reading ASAP

Book 1: Renegade Hearts (Ryan & Emily)
Book 2: Tortured Souls (Brandon & Harper)

*I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Finn and Effy are so beautiful together, I cried so much throughout this read. Finn's story will turn your heart into goo, and the way Effy never gives up on him has me in all kinds of knots. This is a story where the FMC is the only light in our MMC's world, and I my heart just hurt reading the words on the page. Nikki J Summers did it again with this one. This series is incredible!

Think about all the emotions there is, doubled in intensity and going through your heart one after the other until you can’t stop tears...

Yes, this is how I feel right now after reading Finn and Effy’s story. A New Adult story full of suspense, heartbreak and whay really means to accept each other’s past and help each other heal from it.

There is a strong trigger warning you should consider before reading this book (DM me if you want to know more), but I can assure you, even though it’s a really difficult topic, the way you see Finn and Effy walking their way out to their happy ending will bring tears to your eyes.

Finn and his sister Alice had a terible secret they’d been holding since they were kids, something very painful and difficult that had been hunting them and sadly is coming back now they’re older, keeping Finn away from Effy’s love.

Finn just wanted him and his sister to be at peace. He was the most protective and fiercely loyal person in the world. He wanted to defend Alice and protect Effy, even if it was going to break his own heart. He wanted to be strong for everyone, be the rock everyone leaned on.

Effy was so freaking sweet, empathetic, patient and understanding. She knew Finn’s initial rejection had a good reason. His love for her was so obvious and she was able to feel it and wait for him until he was ready. She helped him to make the burden he was carrying a little lighter and never gave up on him.

The emotions these two made me feel were so strong, their live was so beautifully described in each of the awful situations they had to go through. It really made an impact in my heart to see them crying together and fighting against such terrible situation together at the same time they were discovering so many beautiful things life brings with the first love. This made the steamy scenes even more romantic and meaningful.

At the end if the book, I shed tears of joy, because I had no doubt they deserve to be together.

Big thanks to the author for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Finn and Effys story you best buckle up and get ready to feel all the emotions.
You'll be standing there holding your breath and trying not to blink at some points because you don't want to miss a single detail!
Finn was definitely more emotional and raw compared to the others, crazy considering Brandon's story was intense but damn Finn was something else.
Finn was unlike any character I've read before. He's not one of those alpha crazied guys, he's more of the silent types but we all knew how Finn was so it would of been a shock to see him do a complete 180 and change into this over obsessive alpha-hole!

I'm absolutely dying with excitement for what's to come!
The next level is in sight!

Finn & Effy really are the definition of soulmates. I loved how this book had a love story that was different then I am used to. There was so much raw emotion between these two characters that you just had no choice to really feel what they were going through. This book is full of angst, spicy, passion & lots of excitement! There is always something going on that keeps you on your toes and anticipating the characters next move. The spice & steaminess between Finn & Effy was great! I really did enjoy this book & it was a great quick read for me, loved it!

Fractured Minds freaking gutted me from the very beginning. Finn story and what he went through was a complete rip your heart out and stomp on it. Everything about Finn made me ache for him. Effy is amazing she is strong bold and a take no crap and give no crap kind of girl. I FLOVED her she is my kinda girl all day long. These two together complete one another Effy is the light to Finn’s darkness. Completely beautiful. This book gives you all the feels. If you love deep raw emotions with some darkness this then one is going to be your jam… I would have to say Finn and Effy are by far my favorite so far.
