This book was sold to me as an enemies to lovers, but the turn was a bit too sudden and jarring. For a romance novel, the first quarter of the book could’ve honestly been omitted.

Excellent, short, smutty story about a girl that gets dragged to the underworld and entangled with death.

This was such a quick listen, I loved the audio book, unfortunately the others aren’t available anymore.

Was not my favorite retelling of the “Bride of Death” trope. I felt the sexual tension was resolved very quickly and the main character’s inner dialogue was repetitive. The mythology and world was fascinating, but I’m not tempted to pick up the sequel as I don’t particularly like any of the main characters featured in the first book.
