Spy stuff, political and corporate thrillers are SO not my thing. I didn't give up on this one though because the voice of Adam, the main character, was just so easy to read. He felt real, like a friend telling me a crazy story over a cup of liquored up coffee.

I liked this book. Had a nice story line about corporate spying. Fun read. Plus you can find it for cheap. Free for a kindle.

True thriller, kept me reading throughout the night. A lot of tech jargon, but it doesn't negatively affect the reading, it enhances the authenticity of the situation. Plus the main character is pretty much in the same position as the readers, so it's kind of amusing. The twists and turns in this book give it those extra brownie points. Fantastic piece of writing, highly recommended!

My brother, who doesn't read novels, recommended this book. He and my father both read this book because it was reviewed in Time magazine. It is clearly written for a male audience and I can see why they liked it but I also enjoyed it and found myself thinking about the story between reads.

Found this book for free on iTunes, so I figured I would check it out. While the plot kept my interest here and there (just for the basic reason of wanting to know how it ended), I found the characters and dialogue so ridiculous at times, I would yell out an "Oh, come ON!" in my car as I listened. (The oft-quoted "bodacious ta-tas" being one of many of these instances.) The protagonist is annoying at best, the dialogue cliched as all get out ("sink or swim!" and "that's not a threat, that's a promise" being 2 of my personal favorites), and I found the ending to be underwhelming, as Adam walks into the sunset. Eh, not my cup of tea, but it kept me entertained during my commute for a few weeks.
