The artwork is not very consistent, but it's such a different feeling to go back to the beginning, like look at all this widdle babies, oof

I read this for Booktube-A-Thon 2014, for the book with pictures category.

This graphic novel is filled with gorgeous illustrations. You know what they say, "Don't judge a book by its cover." and I know this cover is ugly but the images inside are beautiful.

Given that The Eye of the World was prose first, and I read the prose first, this started out as a really weird medium to convey the story in. However, it definitely improved as it went on, and the artwork was pretty gorgeous, so I have no real complaints about this.

I found the comic version underwhelming, and I wasn't a fan of the art, it was inconsistent with faces. I only read the first volume, so it wasn't really enough to judge the story by, but I'll read the book instead, rather than try to keep going on the comic.
