A classic mystery for a reason. The twist took me completely bt surprise even though it was built up well.

I am a simple person I read classic crime novels and I like them. I was stupid because I watched the movie before reading so there were no surprises but it was still fun to read.

I wish I could’ve read this book before I knew the ending. All I will say is that I’ve found with Agatha Christies that the classics are classics for a reason.

This was my first Agatha Christie book. The story was interesting. I was captivated by that part. However, it’s old so the stereotypical language and some of the writing made me wince. I am not sure if I will keep reading more Christie books.

Great classic

I love reading classic thrillers. They are less exciting than modern ones and can be a bit long in the tooth but without them we may not have the amazing books we have now. This one is a well known mystery so it wasn’t shocking but had I never heard of it or seen the films I would have been extremely shocked.
