A beautiful classic, which had me remembering all the iterations of Peter Pan I've seen over the years, including a VHS of Mary Martin's life action play version that my younger brother watched until it broke from exhaustion. It's also how my uncle got his nickname, "Codfish." All around, a rewarding read for those of us who grew up with this story near and dear to their hearts, and for anyone who believes in fairies. Took away one star for inherent racism around any mention of "redskins" and negative Native-American stereotypes *Slaps forehead*

The audiobook had a lot of great production value that brought this classic to life.

Disney’s 1953 version of Peter Pan was a film I watched a lot as a child, so reading its source material was really fun and cool!

Even though I know the story so very well, I had never read the book before and, I must admit, I was quite surprised by how violent it is. The story we sell children has little to do with the actual story: a sad but uplifting story about the journey to adulthood.
