Fast paced and creative storyline, but almost written as a short story. Seems like it is missing some important details (character and world building), and ends abruptly.

 Unsurprisingly better and much more nuanced than the Schwarzenegger movie. I had no idea that this was a Stephen King story until recently. Predicting the era of social media and instant entertainment gratification.

I remember reading this book when I was young (way too young for what should be considered appropriate by anyone's standards) and LOVING it. As an adult, I wasn't as big of a fan. That being said, I did read the whole story in one sitting and am glad to have revisited it with a fresh perspective. Looking forward to seeing the movie adaptation now.
