Really interesting read! I felt the way Pollan talks about vegetariansm to be somewhat condescending, but otherwise I felt it was an interesting and informative book.
Moderate: Animal death, Animal cruelty, and Blood
Minor: Excrement
This book discusses very frankly the treatment and slaughter of animals such as chickens, cows, and pigs in the American industrialized food system. There is also a moderately graphic scene of humane chicken slaughter, but this scene does deal with animal death and lots of blood.gwas007's review
