Ahh so bittersweet!

This was a nice bite of the Illuminae Files series. Very refreshing and a quick reminder why this series is one of my favorites. Just awesome!

Wow, I really liked this short novella even though it was sad and a bit predictable. I never trusted or even liked Aidan so this gives me further reason to hold a grudge against him. This was short, only about 80 pages or so. I recommend this be read after you've read The Illuminae Files.

I enjoyed this so I'm giving it 4.5 stars out of 5.

I mean come onnnn :) Anything a part of the Illuminae Files will instantly be a 5-star read. Although short, this gave me the romance and science fiction that I so desperately desired. 10/10 recommend if you want a little more taste from this series. Would recommend reading the Illuminae Files before reading this prequel novella!
