This was an incredible read. You’ve got two stories that eventually intertwine in the most gruesome way. Great plot, crazy twist and this definitely made my teeth hurt!

5 bloody stars for this one.
I've never read this author, but have seen this book talked about a lot in the indie horror community. I'm glad I read this one
I wasn't exactly sure where this one was heading, but without spoiling anything, I can say it was violent and twisty

It gets 5*, as, as a horror it did its job. I am unsettled.

The beginning of this book was wild as hell. The part that stuck out most was that this couple would do online sex lives. They would have viewers tell them what to do for money. It gets real crazy after that part. I was definitely shocked with the ending of the book.

I slept on this one for a while because the cover art really didn't do it for me, but it came so highly recommended not only from the good people of Books of Horror (FB group) but also by the For You in Romance section of my Kindle recommendations that I eventually had to give in and pick it up. I have to say it is indeed the kind of romance I enjoy, low on the lovey-dovey and high on the "we'll be one and we'll be dead" regardless of whether or not the characters actually want that.
The only reason this isn't a 5 stars for me is that the regular spicy bit was way too long for my liking (if sex in books isn't off-putting to you it's probably a decent scene). Otherwise it's pretty engaging story and Daly managed to balance characterization and story well enough that we have something to be engaged in besides the gritty aspects of the story which are rendered with just enough detail to paint the scene nicely but not so much so that you lose the effect in extra details. Overall, it's bleak, it's graphic and steeped in blood and it's very good.

This is such a well written debut. Brutal, gory, with a wicked twist, it’s everything a splatterpunk junkie could ask for. As someone who has previously gone through extensive mouth surgery, this book hit the spot.
