Love love loved this. The audio was fantastic

the cutest little novella. all of tessa dare’s humor in a small package 😆 i will say i don’t know how much someone who hasn’t read her work/other books in this series would like it, so definitely read a night to surrender before this!

I really enjoyed this novella--I would have given this 4 stars, because I really liked the characters, the story line, etc. but the reveal of who he actually was was bizarre to me and not very well done, so I knocked a star off for that. but otherwise a really fun novella and it's gotten me interested in reading the series--"Dare" I hope to have found another great author?!

A really enjoyable read!

I was very entertained. Immediately interested in the stranger that had shown up to Violet's feet. I was incredibly invested in finding out who he was.

Violet was so kind and lovable, she really handled her frustration and took charge well. I found it so wonderful seeing her bloom farther. Her quick wit was so on the dot that she clocked Christian right away. [This is where I'm so somewhat thankful it was actually a novella because anything longer I believe would have dragged the story in a negative way, if it focused it's beginning on the mystery man.] The epilogue that summarized her changes during her following season were lovely as well, though I'd want to have explored that a bit more, and maybe see her interactions with her and Christian's family.

Christian, was such a great and dashing hero. He was absolutely charismatic and the way he baited her into kisses was just perfect. His flirting, the banter, the way he was set on describing her as an Angel, His Angel. And his deep adoration for his brother was touching. I'd love to actually just hear more of him and his time.

I hope we see them more in the background of the other books, they’re both so lovely.
