If you can get past the cutesy doodles and occasionally Engrish translations, you will learn plenty of new things from this book, like being capable of reading physical cues and symptoms, being aware of every part of their anatomy, how cats change as they age, verbalizations, scratching, posture, basic care, and maintaining a routine.

I can't give it a good rating as among all the good info it says-
'If you have to leave your cat in a car on a hot day, open the window a crack'
This is horrible advice, a cat will die quickly in this situation.

cute, informative little book with adorable illustrations. the sections are short and easy to digest, although that comes at the cost of them not being the most in-depth. for the purpose of an initial primer/guide though, i think it’s plenty fine. i’ve had my cats for seven years and i still learned several nuggets of knowledge!
