Diving into the second part of this series was the best choice I've made. The first book was good, but the second book was even better!! This story beautifully builds upon the first book and encapsulates the perfect combination of fantasy and reality. Mashing together the adventure of life, love, and hope into this beautifully mended world of fiction.

Alix created a world and characters that I would read over and over. This feels like a newlyfound comfort book for me. ~

This novel has given me a feeling of reprieve of the overwhelm of life with a feel-good ending that leaves you giddily smiling. Through and through, I fully recommend this book!

I was surprised about the time jump between this story and the last book, but it provides for a good premise and things that will be addressed in this book.
We still hop through the fairy tale multiverse with the self-consciousness and introspection the last about fairy tales and stories the last book had too. I loved that we moved to a different fairy tale (and it did not seemed forced or unnatural to jump to this one or to jump at all).

Overall this was a great read and some good entertainment.

I liked this one, but oof, did the ending hurt. (Not because the terminally ill character was cured, thank goodness!) I just don't understand why
the couple couldn't get their happily ever after. Like, are we completely forgetting that Prim is not in her world?? So why do Eva and Zinnia have to be parted?

I really don’t know if I can put my feelings into words for this book. The beginning of it didn’t resonate quite as much as the first one and I wasn’t as invested but the ending absolutely split me open and despite it being fairly open ended I appreciated how it ended Zinnia’s story and felt it was fairly fitting
Overall I really enjoyed reading this duology and would definitely recommend it

I absolutely love this style of reimagined multiverse fairy tale stories. They are intriguing and so fun! The whole “sick and dying girl who is self destructive” narrative got a little tiring this time around but the story was still great. I really love that the villains are given a voice behind why they were perceived as villains. This was a great listen and a great idea!

Another fun book in this series! I enjoyed how this one broke away from the first with the MC having more experience and then getting into a new fairytale. I'd love to see if there's going to be a next one!

A fun sequel to Alix’s A Spindle Splintered. The audiobook narrator for these does a fantastic job. Quick listen/read. LGBTQ+ rep.
