This was a solid enemy to lovers trope, it was a little bit surprising how quickly things progressed for Asher and Levi but it wasn't quite instalove so I appreciated that. The steamy parts were pretty hot, and if you like enemies to lovers you'll probably like this one. If the author has built up their hatred a bit slower in the beginning I feel like I would have pushed my rating up, or if it hadn't gone from absolute hatred to sweet and open/honest with one another it would have been a bit more believable... And although I liked that there was an HEA, I found it a little on the sappy side compared to how these characters are earlier in the story. Despite that though the story was really enjoyable :)

Good plot good characters great smut I just loved this book!!!!

normally this type of book would be right up my alley so i'm not really sure why it didn't do it for me. i don't think i really felt connected to either of the main characters so i just didn't care enough about their story for it to be more than a surface level good book for me if that makes sense???
lighthearted fast-paced
emotional medium-paced

Savage Rivals is a new MM Enemies to Lovers High school romance that is a standalone. Part of this book was in the Brutal Boys on Devil's Night book. This book is told from dual points of view by Asher and Levi.

Levi and Asher are both captains of their football teams and are in rival schools. Levi's school did something to Asher's school and Asher wants revenge. The school's teams keep going against each other for revenge.

When Asher is getting revenge for his school Levi catches him in the action. Things start to happen between the two and feelings start to come.

Can they still have feelings for each other, but also hate each other? Can they convince their schools the rivalry needs to end? Even though neither has been with a guy before, can they make it work? How will their friends and family take their relationship? Will they get their happily ever after?

I loved getting to know Asher and Levi. From their hatred in the beginning to something else later on. I enjoyed every minute of this book and didn't want to put it down.

A fun MM rivals to lovers with the sweetest epilogue I've read to date

Amazing!

This book was everything! It’s started out angsty and ended happily I LOVE Levi and ash and the way they use their anger to also enjoy each other is soo good! Such a fantastic enemies to lovers what a wild ride.

I was about to apologise for putting a shirtless man cover on the timeline but then i found a special edition cover of this book and saved everyone and myself. I don’t have a real explanation as to why I read this I just saw two tiktoks back to back talking about this and thought it sounded cute. But then I saw the cover and author and read the description that it was set in high school and was a little apprehensive. But it seemed like a fast paced short read and I needed a little breather from fantasy and such so here we are.

I was glad to see that almost immediately it was said that the main characters have turned 18 before this was set and were in their final year of school. I didn’t love it at the start, I thought the writing was a little cringey and the two main characters were so angsty and very intense and said fuck like every sentence. But over time it either got better or I got used to it and hence the 4 stars. Like I can’t say it was all that good or there wasn’t much of a plot but it’s nearly 2am and these two idiots had me smiling at their silly little behaviour. Like the fact that they pure hated each other over something stupid and had their first kiss while trying to beat each other up? yeah I kind of ate that up. And then constantly being drawn back to each other was such a serve. They got together kind of fast but I don’t care, I don’t know if I would have survived a slow burn in this book.
