Savage Rivals ⚽️

Savage Rivals was so good. Asher and Levi had chemistry from the get go. In the beginning it was their passion for being rivals in football ball ⚽️. With their heated interactions things began to morph into a different type of heated passion. Which had confused them both cuz neither had ever thought about dating same sex. The spice level of this one was off the charts

This was just everything I needed!

This was such a perfectly written enemies to lovers MM bully romance. It had everything I look for when I look for this exact genre, which is frequently.

Asher and Levi, captains of rivaling high school soccer teams and mortal enemies go head to head both on and off the pitch. As the retaliations get bigger, so does the mutual rage these boys feel for one another… until it goes too far, leaving them completely shook and unable to get the each other out of their mind!

Now, unable to think of anything but one another, they still try to fight it and keep up with this feud. But is the feud enough to sate the growing desire they each feel?

This was just to-the-core goodness and I ate up every word on every single page.

Man, I just really liked this one. Short, sweet and didn’t waste any of my time - exactly what I needed.

Okay, nothing special just easy. But omg it bothered me a little that alstone high was the name of the richer school and highnam freakin academy was the poorer one lol. Also the power hierarchies in any book thats set in hs is just so unserious to me sorry.

It’s not you, it’s me. There was nothing outstanding about this book, but also nothing I can pinpoint as being wrong with it. It’s an MM sports romance that contains some great tropes. I just don’t think I jive with the author’s writing style. Even though I probably won’t be reading anymore of her books I would still recommend them to someone I knew loved the sports LGBTQIA+ romance genre.

I enjoyed this short and sweet enemies to lovers book. The MCs are football captains on opposing schools teams and are obsessed with each other. One school is a rich private school, the other a poor public school with metal detectors, guards, and students who carry knives on the regular. As unrealistic as the story may be, I enjoyed it and the MCs were cute together after they stopped being bratty teenagers.

  • Okay, the rivalry in this is pretty funny so far and it’s entertaining to read. I like how everyone acknowledges that their rivalry is a borderline obsession. It’s also funny how they just don’t have a clue how to react to each other.
  • Okay, I really liked this. Their relationship ended up being really sweet, and I like how their dynamic gradually turned from rivalry to genuinely caring for each other. And I like how it was actually shown in the book.
  • The supporting characters were also cool. I liked all their friendship dynamics and hoe they stuck with Levi and Asher when thing got rough. Talia and Danny were great and Milo was okay as well.
  • Asher’s mum sucked but Levi’s parents were great. Those scenes seemed a little rushed at times, especially since Asher’s mum was barely mentioned the entire time, but it was fine.
  • There again wasn’t a lot of focus on the sport which I enjoyed. It was sports romance but mainly romance, which is the part I cared about. The pranks and shit they pulled on each other were great and the tension really was good, especially when it started to become more.
  • The epilogue was slightly cringy at the end part but the tattoos they got were really sweet. I liked seeing their new jobs as well.
  • Overall I really liked this. It was very enjoyable and I just kept reading it.
