The rivals to lovers I really did love Asher and Levi. The hatred to sexual tension was so real. Also when they actually talked they had a crazy amount in common and were equally obsessed with each other. The attack scene? Was intense and honestly I thought heads would roll bc Levi was PISSED. Anyway a fun quick read!

I read the fist chunk of this in the "Brutal boys" anthology and it left it at such a jaw dropping cliffhanger I had to rush and get the book yo finish it and find out what happened!!!

To be honest, I generally don't puck up sports related novels but it wasn't really about the sport. That was just the circumstance.

Asher - "Ten" and Levi - "Seven" are each captains of their high school football teams and the rivalry between them is high and escalates fast. They don't even call each other by name - just by their player number. Levi attends a posh private school in a wealthy area, whereas Asher attends a public school in a working class town. This attributes to the rivalry.

This was such a sweet love story. I loved the build up. The confusion they both felt. Neither had had feelings for a man before, so aswell as having the pressure of the rivalry on their shoulders, they're trying to figure out these new feelings - about their rival of all people.

The steamy scenes were made hotter by the fact everything was new and they were finding their way together. The first time they had sex was explosive! But what was great was it wasn't the end game. They still thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of pleasing each other just as much as the first time.

The coming out part, again was well covered. The worry about it was bound to be there and the author writes with care and understanding.

Really loved it and it's made me want to pick up the rest of the series. If they all run like this, I'll be a happy reader!!!
