This is my second time reading this!!

This is such a cliche book, but I love it lol. It’s cute and funny, the side characters were great too. I wrote this review pretty late, so I forgot everything I was going to say lmao.

Savage Rivals is an MM, enemies to lovers story with so much tension, you could cut it with a knife. High school stories can occasionally be difficult for me to get into, but I couldn’t get enough of this one!

Asher and Levi are rivals - captains of rival football teams who have made it their mission to one-up each other, pulling pranks, destroying property and getting into fights. Since the first game of the season, they’ve been thinking of ways to get back at each other, but their relationship is so much more complicated than that.

Levi is from Alstone High and has everything he could ever need and more, something Asher can only dream of being from Highnam Academy. Their rivalry starts with football, but goes deeper - Asher thinking Levi is privileged and spoiled and Levi thinking Asher is a jerk with something to prove. As they’re pulling pranks, vandalizing school property and fighting with each other, Asher and Levi start to realize their obsession with each other is more than a rivalry, turning into flirtation, stolen kisses and eventually a full-blown relationship.

Once they accepted their connection and pull toward one another, they started to open up to each other and get to know the people behind their preconceived notions. They’re vulnerable around each other in a way that’s surprising and so, so sweet. Even though their relationship was unexpected, they jumped in with both feet and it was steamy and passionate - you could feel their connection jumping off the page.

The ending of this story and the epilogue killed me - I could have read about Asher and Levi forever...they’re so sweet, loving and funny. Definitely recommend giving this one a read if you love MM and enemies to lovers!
