I remember kids talking about this book so much when I was in grade school. I honestly had no idea what it was about other than it had to do with a camera, but I played along and none of the other kids were any the wiser. Or if they were, they honestly didn't care.
This one had more characters than the first three books but Shari & Greg were the main characters. They find a camera in an abandoned house and confiscate it. It's not your normal camera though. It takes the picture but the picture you get, kind of like an old polaroid, is not the one you took. It shows a horrible event or a hint to one. Then something bad occurs.
It was surprisingly fascinating for an easy readers book.

EDIT: I was so tired when I wrote this review LOL. I totally forgot to mention how this book actually had a cliffhanger ending. How the bloody hell did children of the 90s survive??? This was book #4 and the sequel is book #44. Either I cheat and read the sequel now or I have to wait 40 bloody books to find out what happens next.
