Gretchen McNeil just knows how to write a twisted, messed up, edge of your seat, gruesome thriller! I have trouble putting her books down!
Is it a good book? No. The characters are flat and mostly annoying, parents and brother are over-the-top villainous. The plot is not air-tight. The writing is, eh, sometimes. But it's just so stupidly FUN to read that, I would take ten more sequels.
So on entertainment scale it's 9/10, give me some more.
