This is one that we've been waiting for years(it's been sooo long)! But can I just say that it was totally #worththewait ? OMG guys it was sooo good!!!❣️✨
It took all of my willpower to not scream about it everywhere as soon as I finished it. And I was so patient as I didn't read the minute it landed on my kindle, but waited till I was free the next weekend, because I wanted some uninterrupted reading time! *pats self*

I, like most of Kresley's readers, have been waiting for this book for years and when I tell you the wait was worth it, I mean, THE WAIT WAS WORTH IT! I LOVED Munro, my sweet little Scottish baby angel, and Kereny was such a (good) surprise too. I can't say much because I really don't want to reveal too much but whatever you think is going to happen in this book, you are wrong.
I loved every page, reading this book felt like coming home. I had missed this world and these characters so much and I'm so glad they're back. You'll see so many characters you love in this book, you'll meet new ones, you'll learn secrets, you'll laugh and boy, will you cry. But most of all, be prepared for that ending, because I was not, so just brace yourself for an epic ending and a "HOLY SHIT! I didn't see that coming" moment. Kresley did it again, MUNRO might be one of my favorite IAD book, and that's saying something.
Disclaimer: I had the chance to read an early copy of this book because I work for Kresley.

Tbh a lot of this was a 4 star for me, but that ending….eeeek!!!!
Sometimes Kereny bugged me because I couldn’t find justification for her actions but I loved Munro and the storyline overall worked well.

My review will have no spoilers as a lot of Kresley Cole's fans have not yet had a chance to read their copy yet.
This is Munro's (obviously) and Kereney's (Ren) story.
All I will say are there are so many ups and downs, ones that made you laugh and ones that make you want to cry.
This book was a long time coming, but so worth the wait. Now I just want know who is next.

Good stuff. Not too heavy and not cheesy. Overall entertaining. Can’t wait for the next book.
I put off reading this to do a complete series re-(listen) ... and I am SO SAD I'm finished! Many people have waited years for this book to come out, and I so enjoyed this one.
Munro has always been a favorite of mine, and it was such a roller coaster ride watching him go through one extreme after another. All the while, he's trying to adjust and adapt to her needs, keep her safe, figure out how to make her immortal, find and defeat the warlocks, deal with Lothaire, and all the other drama that creeps up in this book. I LOVE his response ... PUT IT ON THE LIST!
Kereny is a force to be reckoned with. She knows her mind, but her past experience with Monsters colors her reactions at first. However, I love how she sticks to her guns, and makes Munro take her point of view into consideration ... after a time. I have a feeling she's going to play a big part in the confrontation with the Moior. She's very much like a General. I think Nix is probably going to take advantage of her strategic mind.
As for overall world building story arc progress ... Nix is still moving the players around. The threat of the Moior is still ever looming ... and the EPILOGE in this book had my jaw dropping.
Now the pain of waiting kicks in ... Hopefully the wait isn't nearly as long as it was for this one.

KC is back and it’s great.
Munro is great and has so many traits of a Kresley Cole hero. It’s interesting going back and comparing him to Lachlan or even Bowen, some of those really early hero’s in this series and to compare. Munro is a much softer hero in my opinion, with the amount of time that had past between the first and most recent book it is nice to see a character that is much more concerned with modern relationship drama compared to the early ones which are almost hard to read in 2023.

I waited so long for this book, maybe my expectations were just too high.
This book felt like coming home and I enjoyed every minute of Munro and Ren's story!
Wow! I'm too emotionally exhausted to write anything in depth, but I want say how AMAZING it was to be back in the world of the Lore! Being with the characters I've come to know and love was such a treat. This book exceeded my expectations and I'm already excited about reading it again!
